Amadou was born as a human being in the very modest city of Manhattan, New York on January 23rd, 1999. He felt as though you should know his birthday in case you assumed he were impartial to free cake and undeserved celebration.

He began his musical journey in the 10th grade with an introductory piano course, where he tormented his classmates endlessly with the opening riff to Axel F. He somehow passed that class and went on to pick up guitar and drop the piano altogether. Sorry Harold Faltomeyer.

Amadou spent a good few years in his early 20's traveling, writing and ultimately, failing. A lot. But happened to document much of the confusion he felt and appreciation for the life he had, which ultimately became the basis for his first song, Lemon Moon, that released in the Fall of '24. 

Now back with a debut album, If the Stars Wake, he aims to capture the essence of the unknown voyages of life; the isles of isolation, the silos of solitude and the rallies of resolution. He hopes you enjoy it (free downloads available).
