Amadou was born as a human being in the very modest city of Manhattan, New York on January 23rd, 1999. He felt as though you needed to know his birthday in case you assumed he were impartial to free birthday cake and undeserved celebration.

He began his musical journey in the 10th grade with an introductory piano course, where he bothered his classmates endlessly with the opening riff to Axel F. He somehow passed that class and went on to pick up guitar and drop the piano altogether. Sorry Harold Faltomeyer.

Amadou spent a good few years in his early 20's traveling, writing and ultimately, failing. A lot. But happened to document much of his pain and appreciation for life that became the basis for his first song, Lemon Moon, released in the Fall of '24. 

Now back with a debut album, If the Stars Wake, he sought to capture the essence of the unknown voyages of life. The isles of isolation, the silos of solitude and the rallies of resolution. He hopes you enjoy it (free downloads available).
